Tan Chin Tuan Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Tecity Group, founded by the late banker and philanthropist, Tan Sri (Dr) Tan Chin Tuan. The Group also comprises a public-listed arm, Straits Trading Company; an investment arm, Tecity Family Office and owns the Tan Chin Tuan Mansion.
The Tan Chin Tuan Foundation seeks a suitably qualified candidate as an:
Admin Assistant (Part-time 1-yr Contract - Mon to Wed / Tues to Thurs)
The administrative assistant supports the team through a variety of administrative tasks to ensure efficient operation of the Foundation.
Job Responsibilities
- Communicate and co-ordinate with internal and external stakeholders for grants and scholarships matters
- Liaise with Finance department on the disbursement of funds
- Data entry and digital filing of confidential documents
- Organise and schedule internal and external meetings
- Prepare data and documents, draft letters and update minutes for meetings
- Support all administrative and logistical tasks for events held
- Manage office stationery and pantry supplies
- Act as a back-up receptionist including receiving guests and visitors and serving beverages
- Any other ad-hoc assignments
Job Requirements
- GCE ‘A’ Levels or Diploma in any discipline with at least 3 years’ relevant experience
- Excellent time management skills and able to manage multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Dynamic, quick thinking, adaptable and responsive to change
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
