As a Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for managing Eurowag´s company's fleet of vehicles across all European entities, ensuring they are operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with our car policy. Your duties will include overseeing switching fleet to low emission vehicles, maintenance and repairs, fuel management, vehicle inspections, and fleet optimization to reduce costs and improve productivity.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Lead a small team
- Ensure car policy and management of the company's fleet of vehicles is effectively applied in all countries where Eurowag has its employees
- Help with switching our fleet to low emission vehicles. Eurowag has committed to reduce its own carbon footprint by 50% till 2030. Own fleet is significant part of it, therefore we have the ambition to gradually make all status cars electric from 2023 on and all others from 2026 on. You will be a key role to support and enable this switch.
- Continuously improve and implement fleet management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency
- Oversee maintenance and repairs of all vehicles in the fleet, ensuring they are serviced and repaired in a timely manner
- Ensure that vehicles are inspected regularly and meet all safety and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure electrification of our fleet (for example with facility to install chargers) and full implementation of the policy across the company.
- Optimize the fleet to improve productivity, reduce downtime, and increase profitability
- Manage and train staff responsible for fleet operations
- Evaluate and recommend new vehicles and technologies to improve the fleet's performance and efficiency
YOU WILL NEED:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet management, logistics, or a related field
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements related to fleet management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
