General Labourer [Canada]

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The General Labourer assists with meeting production needs through providing general support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Filing, data entry, and other clerical duties as assigned
  • Housekeeping, sweeping, and other facilities maintenance
  • Order picking, staging, and preparing orders for distribution
  • Loading and unloading shipments as needed
  • Producing samples as needed
  • Follow safe work procedures and practices
  • Recognize and report hazards
  • Attend health and safety meetings
  • Participate in training, audits and inspections
  • Comply with legal duties and Tremco safety policies and procedures
  • All employees are liable under the Criminal Code of Canada as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Act to take every reasonable precaution in the circumstances for the protection of workers

EXPERIENCE: No experience required

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: None required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.

The hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $18.70 and $23.70. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
