Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- In close collaboration with the VP for Operations, leads operations team to continuously deliver performance outcomes that satisfy clients.
- Leads and is responsible for the performance and direction of senior level professional personnel and several layers of management.
- Plans operational activities and establishes strategic goals in collaboration with internal leaders and client representatives.
- Offers excellent tactical strategies to guarantee everyday operations that are continually improved and that maximize client and team satisfaction.
- Issues instructions to others to address business issues that touch on many disciplines or functions.
- Create and/or implement internal and/or external service level agreements to guarantee that program performance (such as turnaround time, quality, and effectiveness) can be tracked and evaluated.
- Determine and/or secure the resources (such as finance, personnel, system security, real estate, telecommuting needs, and hardware/software) needed to implement initiatives.
- Ensure programs and initiatives are implemented and maintained successfully by offering internal and/or external partners (such as claims, contact centers, benefits, and clinical) advice, knowledge, and/or help.
- Ensure that reliable reports are created to validate program performance review by working with internal and/or external partners (such as claims and call centers).
- Analyze combined operational performance data to assess overall efficacy, implement appropriate adjustments, and spot chances for new programs, program consolidation, or program expansion.
- Include performance data from operational programs in strategic and business planning.
- Examine operational performance in accordance with pertinent standards (such as specific financial measurements, quality indicators, performance promises, and/or incentives).
- Develop and show that you comprehend the management style, organizational structure, job duties, and workflow of pertinent business areas.
- Review programs in-depth with the appropriate internal and/or external stakeholders to find areas for ongoing improvement.
- Support Operations Policies and Procedures Development and ensure compliance. Exhibits knowledge of and adherence to pertinent rules, procedures, and laws.
- Keep up with updates to pertinent policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Use stakeholder input to shape and carry out ongoing operational quality and financial performance improvement.
- Ensure that business continuity and disaster response plans are frequently reviewed, tested, and readily executable.
- Exhibits comprehension of the language, procedures, and instruments used in budgeting and forecasting.
- Examine the fiscal year's budget performance and deviations and suggest and/or implement any necessary adjustments and corrections.
- Examine and assign initiatives and projects in accordance with available resources, skills, and knowledge.
Job Requirement and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree holder
- Proven expertise in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
- Proven experience in Medical Coding
- Proven background in US Healthcare industry.
- Experience and/or certification in Lean Six Sigma methodology
- More than 5 years' experience as a Site Director or Director of Operations in a BPO or shared services setting.
- 2+ years of management experience in both internal (in-house) and external (remote - work from home) operations.
- Three or more years of experience in primary POC, account management, and direct client communication and problem-solving.
- Project management expertise with clients of any size and across all professions
- Knowledge of and expertise with cost analysis and profit & loss statements
- Working knowledge in developing and maintaining operational statistics, financial management data, and outcomes reporting
- Capable of communicating with people in a variety of professions and departments thanks to strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent time-management and organizational abilities, including the capacity to work under pressure.
- Possessing the aptitude and drive to achieve program and internal business KPIs.
- The capacity to implement innovation and transformation across teams.
- Amenable to work on a night shift
