The Improvement & Performance Team will support Drilling & Wells to take its performance culture to world class level, through learning and data-driven improvement.
The Improvement Team is looking for a Senior Business Analyst, that would lead and drive the BA domain within the Improvement team. The candidate will be taking a key role to liaise between the business (D&W line) and data analytics within the Performance team. This will be done by facilitating communication and determining objectives that align with stated and unstated business needs related to business processes, information, technology and vendor portfolios.
The Improvement & Performance team (I&P) works with all teams in Drilling & Wells and in cross-business unit teams. We collaborate closely with Data Operations and the digitalization department.
In this role you will be working with improvement initiatives that origins from the Drilling & Wells business unit. You will be working closely with other team members during this exercise, and your knowledge and experience will be vital for the team to further develop the I&P teams’ knowledge and skill within Business analyses.
This role will give you great insight into Drilling & Well end-to-end processes, different work techniques (JIRA, Scrum, product development, etc) and give you the opportunity to expand your network.

- Help business organization in clarifying business IT demands and ensure they are efficiently met by the IT delivery organization.
- Conduct analysis on existing business processes and systems to identify areas of improvement or optimization.
- Collaborate with developers to design and implement data structures and integrations that meet business needs.
- Assist in the creation of technical specifications and requirements for new system development and enhancements.
- Ensure business approval is provided by System owner prior to planned system outages (incl. management of change process in the business).
- Ensure agreed changes to the application are progressed according to priority and that necessary change and test processes are performed.
- Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.
- Together with the customer build area / application road maps.
- Be I&P Team's link between customer and data analytics.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's data landscape and data governance policies.
- Help to establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for business processes and systems.
Qualification & Experience:
- Higher education within IT (minimum 3 years)
- Certified within the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) is an advantage
- Knowledge and experience from working within the Drilling and Wells domain
- Knowledge and practical experience on agile project management and digitalization of business is an advantage
- Team/Managing experience from companies with high complexity and highly competent co-workers
- Some experience with Power BI, Power Apps or SQL is an advantage
