The Network Application Engineering team is looking for a hardworking, keen Senior HW Engineer to join the team and support groundbreaking technology. As a HW Application Engineer one will have a real impact on the business, while working closely with our customers and R&D teams.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead customers through all stages of designing their systems based on NVIDIA ASIC, from definition till production.
- Enable and support switch product adoption in cloud deployments, super computers, and Data Centers.
- Participate in product definitions and create powerful collaterals for our customers.
- Gain our customers’ trust and understand their needs.
- Work closely with various R&D teams to ensure feature implementation for our customers.
- Lead complex escalations with customers, build and lead engineering task force, build debug strategies and lead them to execution, while communicating to customer.
- Provide constructive feedback to engineering regarding products’ requirements.
What we need to see:
- B.S.c or M.S.c degree in electronic engineering(or equivalent experience) with 8+ years of board and system design experience
- Network (NIC and switch) system understanding, including HW architecture, FW and SW aspects.
- Knowledge and experience with High-Speed Digital Board Design including electro-magnetic waves theory and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with high-speed SerDes design concepts
- High level English communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work directly with customers.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Proven capability running multiple interfaces in a matrix structured organization.
- Familiarity with VHDL/Verilog and CPLD implementation
- Knowledge and experience on Networking is preferred
