Role Overview
We are looking for:
- To secure a Trade Compliance culture throughout the company.
- To ensure that the Company operates under the appropriate written policies, procedures and guidelines that prevent and detect violations of applicable laws in all countries in which the Company operates.
We count on you for:
- To define and oversee implementation of the Group Trade Compliance Policy and strategy globally in the fields of economic sanctions, export control, customs and anti boycott.
- To set up and lead the Group Trade Compliance Coordination Committee (GTCC) with all relevant regulatory experts and stakeholders to discuss Group policies updates, organization, monitor progress on the implementation of the compliance program, priorities, and latest regulatory changes.
- To analyze and oversee the implementation of all applicable regulatory requirements related to business operations with the support of regulatory experts.
- To provide regulatory counsels, support and expertise to answer daily management and business needs in collaboration with the regulatory experts.
- To alert the Chief Compliance Officer of any red alert, reputational or legal risk or possible non-compliant transaction.
- To ensure that applicable policies and procedures are comprehensive, robust, current, and reflect the Company’s evolving business policies, processes and risks.
- To ensure that compliance efforts are appropriately documented and monitored.
- To define and update Trade Compliance clauses templates, compliance letters and negotiating provisions with business partners (customers, suppliers, distributors, etc.).
- To conduct risk assessments and to identify potential areas of compliance risk; to develop and implement corrective action plans for resolution of issues.
- To recommend the initiation of investigative procedures in response to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and the Code of Business Integrity.
- To review and coordinate a comprehensive educational and training program that focuses on the relevant elements of the Group Trade Compliance Program, including investigations, as well as industry-specific rules and regulations.
- To provide advice & arbitration on trade compliance issues when needed.
- To represent the Group before the official bodies and professional federations concerned and approve all Group’s position before release.

You will bring:
- Law Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Ethics and Compliance, International Trade or equivalent.
- 10+ years' experience in-house in a trade compliance and/or legal role.
- Extensive experience and knowledge in export control, sanctions and customs, legal or related fields demonstrating leadership, the ability to acclimate and be successful in company culture, and the ability to maintain a strong customer/client focus.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Good knowledge of trade compliance laws and regulations affecting business operations.
- An experienced compliance officer, able to explain complex compliance legal points to business leaders with varying degrees of sophistication about compliance matters.
- Experience analyzing, managing and overseeing implementing compliance programs across a complex organization with a global presence.
- Experience working internationally and/or has spent significant time working with international business partners to develop and oversee implementation of corporate programs across divisions and globally.
- Extensive knowledge in export control, sanctions and customs, legal.
