Spend your summer getting paid to build conservation skills and engage in environmental education! The Texas Conservation Corps’ Summer Youth Program is an AmeriCorps opportunity specifically for Alabama-Coushatta members to work on local habitat restoration projects. Texas Conservation Corps (TXCC) participants engage in hands-on conservation projects on public lands, coastal regions, National Parks and recreational areas across the Central Southern United States. The Conservation Corps experience builds leadership skills, connection with community, and prepares young people with skills needed to enter the workforce with a strong work ethic and sense of service!

Member Duties : Led by two adult crew leaders, members will work on trail improvement and habitat restoration projects, and engage in environmental education on USFS and Alabama-Coushatta tribal lands. This opportunity is specifically for Alabama-Coushatta members!
