Business Development Officer [Nigeria]


 

The business development executive nurtures existing clients relationship, generates sales leads, and contact new and potential clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company’s products/services
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople

Qualification and skills

  • A bachelor's degree in any related field.
  • Experience in customer service is an added advantage
  • Market knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Strong teamwork spirit and attention to detail.
  • At least 1 year experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
