Are you the AA Driving School's newest Driving Instructor?
It is an exciting time to join the AA Driving School's network of franchised Driving Instructors, as we are focusing on delivering our new driver training programme (Drivers' Seat) to the country.
Our franchise is very "low barrier to entry" method of becoming self-employed and starting your own profitable business.
As a franchised Driving Instructor, you will have the freedom to be your own boss and set your own training schedule, using the booking calendar that is provided as part of the franchise.
All that is needed is a current Instructor Endorsement, a suitable dual-pedal instructor vehicle and a small amount of start-up capital. More details on all of this below.
Who we are:
The AA Driving School is the driver training division of the AA with a nationwide network of Driving Instructors. We are the largest driver training organisation in New Zealand and have been training drivers for over 50 years.
What you will need:
- An 'Instructor endorsement' - we can help you get one, through our in-house training
- An appropriate instructor vehicle - we can guide you through the process of getting one of these as well
- A desire to make a difference and teach NZ's next generation of drivers
- Excellent people skills to engage with people of all ages and walks of life
- Openness to giving & receiving feedback/coaching
- Commitment to running their own business under a license agreement
How the model works for a new Instructor joining our network - the basics:
- Full on-boarding support and guidance is provided for new Instructors once they have their 'Instructor endorsement'.
- After acquiring a fully branded, new Suzuki vehicle with dual controls & in-car camera system, AA uniform and all training materials, you are good to go
- An interactive, automated calendar booking platform that allows students to choose their nearest AA Instructor and pay for their lessons in advance.
- Collect students from centralized collection points
- Support from the AA Head Office covers induction, national marketing & brand awareness, local marketing, social media & web, business development, mentoring, etc.
- You get to leverage AA's influence, credibility, and advocacy
- 24/7 NZ based call centre support for your customers/clients
