As a Strategy & Planning Manager (f/m/d) for Smart Infrastructure Sales & Marketing you will play a key role in building out and executing on our Go To Market strategy in line with business objectives and develop holistic plans collaborating with a large number of stakeholders. In this role you will report to the Global Head of Marketing, Smart Infrastructure.
  • In your new role, you will develop and implement Go To Market strategy in line with business objectives and in close collaboration with stakeholders across the organization
  • Provide foundation for regional and vertical growth plans, net new logo targets, account extension plans as well as countermeasures for churn
  • Aggregate existing planning on BU, Vertical and country level to build a holistic plan and overview
  • You will ensure that strategy and planning is reflected in demand generating campaigns coworking closely with demand generating teams
  • Evaluate current demand and pipeline health by country, vertical and BU and determine strategic actions to increase performance
  • In addition, you will build a holistic marketing calendar and map campaigns from other teams throughout the year to deliver the demand based on plan and business priorities
  • Ensure alignment of country, BU, vertical and horizontal planning with regards to Go To Market
  • Build the strategic briefs for specific campaigns incl. purpose, audience, key customer segments, buyer journey etc. in close collaboration with Marketing peers, Demand generating teams, countries, verticals and business units
  • Your responsibilities include the building of content strategy and map to customer journey and target audience by vertical, collaborate with related Vertical Marketing Managers and Communications
  • Aggregate, analyze and where needed also conduct market and customer research
  • Be a trusted partner with countries, vertical markets and business units for planning complete your area of responsibilities
What you need to make real what matters.
  • The basis of your success is a degree in marketing, computer science, business administration, or a comparable discipline.
  • You have 7+ years of experience in B2B Sales and Marketing, with a focus on strategy and planning
  • Moreover, you have experience in developing and executing successful Go To Marketing plans in markets and industries that are applicable to Siemens Smart Infrastructure
  • You have a proven track record of working in global, matrix organizations and used to managing by influence
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in using data to drive business decisions are required
  • You are fluent in English and can explain complex topic in an engageable way. Fluent German is a plus. Additional languages are welcome
  • Be a reliable partner: You are a team player who delivers results on time and in high quality
