Scent lab is an experiential retailer that specializes in candlemaking workshops, events, and teaching the art (and science!) of making candles. We also do bath bombs, soaps and other bath products!
We also create and sell a line of retail products that are handmade at our studios
We provide lots of different scent experiences for all kinds of events—from kids birthdays to weddings to community events to school fundraisers.
We're in the business of creating exceptional experiences and we are looking for a some equally exceptional people to join our team!
We run a multi-faceted operation and are looking for people who are motivated, adaptable, and love candles, bath products, fragrance, and fun!
Essential skills
- Experience working with children.
- Enjoy working with fragrances
- Be reliable. Our parties are a once a year event and letting down a child or person on their special day is simply not an option. The successful candidate will feel the same as we do.
- Desirable: A car with a tow bar and car big enough for transporting our mobile trailer (look a food truck) (Most SUVs are suitable) - desirable (we also have a car you can drive the trailer with)
- Able to work weekends
- Independent - you will be working alone once training is completed.
Duties will include
- Prepping the supplies and equipment for that day’s parties and events
- Safely arriving at the location and setting up as well as packing down.
- Leading and supervising scent experience with children and all ages.
- Cleaning and restocking between events.
We will provide
A comprehensive training program
Pay during the training period will be at award rate $23.38 per hour.
Once you are running parties and events independently the pay is $35-$39 depending on day an hour including driving and prep/cleaning time. You will also be given a petrol allowance.
Commissions also available.
