Food Engineer [Romania]


 

Responsibilities

  • Is up to day with RO and EU legislation
  • Working closely with R&D, MK, PPGA, RA, Legal
  • Act as a regulatory resource
  • Ensure product and packaging compliance with technical food regulations including review and approval of ingredients and implementation of new regulatory requirements, including labelling
  • Develop labelling file in line with RO and EU legislation
  • CAST / food system check/approve recipe, develop label set
  • Keep up to day RA data base

Qualifications

  • Fluent functional knowledge in regulatory areas: EU and local legislations, all aspects related to food production, food additives, claims and communication to consumers.
  • Good orientation in regulatory differences within CEGB.
  • University decree in Food or Nutrition Science/Technology, Food Chemistry or similar.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong skills in standard office software.
