DESCRIPTION
The Digital power team is looking for a Business Procurement Leader in Shanghai.
The position consists in driving new project activities and whole offer lifecycle management. Therefore, it offers the opportunity to comprehend several aspects of Procurement (OCP, Offer Creation Process and Operations) and Business.

Digital power, with 1B Euro business revenue globally.
The position is in the Global Supply Chain > Global Procurement organization
Mission
- Contribute to new project successful execution. Handle OCP Procurement deliverables
- Conduct market intelligence to proactively identify best suppliers and technologies available, and support the offer roadmap definition (act as "business enabler")
- Drive productivity (negotiation, replacement of legacy offers by more economical ones, localization, etc.)
- Develop cost model for during the whole new project management phase.
- Drive or Contribute to new supplier audit and development
- Contribute to long-tail suppliers initiative (cutting/concentrating low-spends, proposing to terminate non-profitable offers, etc.)
- Conduct regular business reviews with top-spending suppliers
- Establish a network within the Business (e.g. with project and offer managers)
- Monitoring the supply chain status, take responsibility for EE shortage.
- Offer resilience management, EOL, Multi source, QVE, redesign, innovation etc.
- Able to work flexibly with teams in different time zone
Performance Criteria
- Supplier’s performance (productivity, delivery, quality, etc.)
- OCP projects performance (spends with strategic suppliers, innovation, risk management, etc.)

Reporting to: Digital Power China Hub Procurement Leader
Location & travel
- Position located in Pudong, Shanghai, China
- Regional travel estimated (25%)
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree (master is a plus)
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in procurement/supply chain function, with at least 4 years in in sourcing & supplier management role
Qualifications:
A highly experience purchasing professional you will demonstrate extensive experience within a multinational corporation including but not limited to:
- Electronic, Mechanical or Industrial background is requested (Essential), Electronic background is mandatory.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in supplier development and management (Essential);
- Good experience and knowledge of electronic components or EMS management (Essential);
- Capable of handling multiple and conflicting priorities; effectively prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced work environment;
- Well-developed, negotiation skills and the ability to influence at all levels;
- Strong problem solving and rectification skills;
- Highly developed English written and verbal communication skills in a teamwork environment.
