We are looking for a reliable equipment operator/stock handler to join our excellent warehouse team. The EO/SH will be responsible to help organize our storage areas and help maintain our inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Use equipment to raise and lower inventory from the stock library
- Ensuring all equipment is maintained and used in accordance with company health and safety regulations.
- Cleaning and performing regular safety checks on equipment.
- Ensuring equipment is positioned correctly before turning it on and off, or loading and unloading it.
- Promptly reporting all faults to the Supervisor.
- Ensuring sites are kept clean and safe.
- Check incoming deliveries to make sure all ordered material meets quality standards
- Load and unload packages
- Organize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts, pallets, cranes, etc.
- Receive and check incoming pick tickets
- Pull material to fulfill orders properly
- Monitor inventory levels and suggest new orders when needed
- Document orders, materials, and any stock movements
- Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to the supervisor
- Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution
- Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording the location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- Forklift experience required, other equipment scissor lift or similar experience
- Attention to detail
- Neat handwriting
- Microsoft experience required
- Continues lifting required
- Working in a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow orders, especially under pressure.
- A positive outlook and a willingness to learn.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.57 - $30.29 per hour
