Support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a risk-based assurance plan, especially for IT-related areas;- Lead IT audits and actively contribute to other areas (operational / finance) as per the agreed audit framework and methodology; establish clear risk-based audit reports and define value-adding corrective actions for the business – mitigating risk in a cost-effective way;
- Follow up to ensure remediation/implementation of recommendations;
- Stay abreast of IT development, ensuring relevant risks & opportunities are shared and acted upon as per priorities;
- Liaise with external auditors on IT audit work as needed;
- Participate in ad-hoc projects where necessary;
- Demonstrate the ability to identify & articulate key risks, impacts, and controls in IT processes and systems to assess adequacy and effectiveness;
- Contribute to innovating ways on how IA serves, protects and enhances the business.
Essential Requirements For The Position:
- Master’s degree (BAC +5 or equivalence) in a relevant field such as Information technology, Economics, Accountancy or Finance;
- A professional audit/IT audit certification such as CISA, or CIA, preferred;
- 5+ years of relevant experience in IT audits such as ITGC reviews, IT risks, Cybersecurity, Technology Risks or Information Security;
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Any other language is an advantage;
- Strong knowledge in specific areas such as IT General controls, Compliance & Security, Information Systems Technology, Security Operations, IT Operations, ITIL processes and more;
- Strong understanding of technology risks and controls relevant to a complex corporate IT environment;
- An engaging style and willingness to build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders with the ability to interact in a global work environment with people from different countries and cultures;
- Team spirit, self-motivation, and a proactive and committed working style;
- Be trustworthy, honest, business-minded and support and promote company values;
- Strong computer skills.
Working Conditions:
- Permanent position based in the Cargolux HQ in Luxembourg;
- Occasional travel required;
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
