About the job
Technical Solution Development provides complete solutions (components, technologies and powerplants) to the Offshore Development asset project portfolio, inclusive clear overview of risks, opportunities and a suggested stretch. Solutions can consist of existing mature technologies anchored in other parts of the organization as well as development of immature solutions until Technical Readiness Level 5, after which it will be handed over to other parts of the business.
The key scope items of Solution Development is to deliver specific stretch, future LEC projections, product and Go-To-Market supply strategies, building blocks, business plans and driving early supplier engagement for constrained products requiring pre Financial Bid Decision commitments.
Responsibilities & Tasks
- Delivering competitive and competent product solutions matured to Technology Reediness Level 5 (TRL5) with a line of sight of 20-30 years
- Accountable of product definition within the giving technical and commercial boundary conditions
- Accountable for ensuring that the product strategy meets requirements from the Platform Directors
- Develops products and solutions with aligned interfaces including clear overview of uncertainties, risks, opportunities and suggested stretch
- Facilitate innovation using internal ideation portal across the entire organization.
- Identification of enabler technologies for future solutions by monitoring and developing the industry (suppliers, universities, research programs etc.)
- Support transfer of market requirements into product and system requirements.
- Secure involvement of internal stakeholders for seamless handover
- Collaborate with Procurement and Commercial Director to develop generic category strategy
Deliverables
- Mature Ecology Solutions within (but not limited to) materials recyclability, green materials, rare earth minerals reduction, co-habitats, biodiversity solutions enabling Platform directors to simulate commercial and sustainability performance in modelling software
- Roadmap of possible future building blocks reaching well into the future inclusive maturation plan
- Supportive documentation

One of the core locations, being Amsterdam, Hamburg or Kolding.
Your profile
Holding a Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering preferably with a sound technical knowledge from the wind industry- Extensive experience within project and portfolio management using Prince2/PMI principles or similar
- Experience in managing requirements from several stakeholders
- Awareness of underlying commercial and technical product impact from consent, supply chain, market constraints, sustainability, health & safety etc.
- Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the entire organization in a multidisciplinary environment
- Drive a culture with a strong innovative mindset with the ability to progress solutions for new products and state of the art technologies using a stretched target approach.
