Graduate/Entry Level Helpdesk Officer

The Graduate/Entry Level Help Desk Officer is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day activities of Camms’ Service Desk Function. The role will be accountable for driving the commercial success of the Service Desk by providing excellent customer service through the achievement of the clients SLA and metrics.

Assisting with client queries and concerns, the role ensures all clients needs and concerns are met in a timely manner, whilst ensuing the customer value is maintained.

Due to customer requirements, the selected candidate must be a UK citizen and either have or be willing to apply for a security clearance (SC). Candidates must also be located near or willing to travel to the Wycombe district.

Responsibilities

Training and development will be provided to understand and perform your role to act out the following:

  • Ensure that communication to key stakeholders is provided in a concise and timely manner.
  • Assist in the management of day-to-day operations of the Service Desk including:
  • Completing Level 1 Investigation for customer queries and issues on Camms’ Software Solutions.
  • Clear and frequent communication with end users
  • Working in a Team Environment to resolve issues in a collaborative way.
  • Manage and coordinate the resolution of urgent and complicated issues.
  • Support the continuous improvement of the Service Desk through process review and improvement.
  • Provide technical solutions to customer problems
  • Support the ownership of Camms customer support service standards in the UK.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Education and Abilities:

  • Previous experience in IT Customer Service or similar
  • Resides In, or near, High Wycombe, Northwest of London.
  • Holds a Security Clearance (SC) or willing to obtain.
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate is ideal.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Degree in IT or Business is preferred.
  • Experience with PowerBI is beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • High Wycombe: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
